White-eared titi tails twined in sleep.

The white-eared titi -- also known as the Bolivian titi or Bolivian gray titi -- is a species of New World monkey from eastern Bolivia and western Brazil. Titis are about 12 to 13 inches head-to-body, and weight about 1.8 to 2.6 pounds. They eat just about anything, but prefer protein-rich leaves. They nap during the day, to digest the cellulose in the leaves. Titis live about 10 to 12 years in the wild, and up to 25 years in captivity.

The white-eared titi is very common, and not anywhere near endangered.
