Tuesday night, we had a horrific thunderstorm here in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. A microburst hit the city with 100 mph winds, which came straight down toward the ground. Massive damage was done to trees in the area, and more than 20,000 people in the city (that's half the population of 43,000) lost power.

I, myself, lost power for 36 hours. And about 5:50 AM on Thursday morning, my neighbor's tree broke in half and plunged into my yard -- cutting off my Internet!

I just got web connectivity back tonight.
