Chimney cleaning at my house!!! Having grown up in Montana, I know what a big deal this is. My parents had a Franklin stove, and then a wood stove, most of my life in the living room. A metal chimney went through the ceiling, through the attic space, and up through the roof. At times, you could bang on the sides -- and hear sheets of creosote come tumbling down like shattered glass into the firebox.
I resolve that, should I ever own a home with fireplace, I would maintain mine safely.
