I refuse to post these to the front page of Wikipedia any more. But I will post them here. The article I wrote or assisted with is in bold.
Did You Know ... that the McClellan Gate at Arlington National Cemetery was originally the cemetery's main entrance on Arlington Ridge Road, but was supplanted by a new ceremonial main gate, the Hemicycle, in 1932 and rendered useless by the cemetery's extensive expansion eastward in 1971?
