So, all day yesterday, I spent in research in the Peabody Room at the Georgetown Branch of the D.C. Public Library. I was doing research into two things in Georgetown, and the Peabody Room -- a special collection established in 1935 -- has what I needed.
After seven hours, I had cramps in my fingers, but I had most of what I needed. What I didn't get, they didn't have.
