Godzilla continues to roar at the box office! The movie cost $160 million to make, and another $100 million for P&A (prints and marketing). Since theater owners take about half the box office, Godzilla needs to bring in about $520 million to break even.

As of last weekend, Godzilla made $175.6 million at the North American box office and $200 million elsewhere, for a total of $375.6 million. With several foreign markets yet to see a release, and the film only in its third weekend, the movie is on track to get close to (if not over) the $450 million mark.

By the way, that legendary prognosticator John Furrier wrote in Forbes magazine back on January 23, "Hands down, Godzilla will be the biggest box office bomb of 2014."

Well, so much for Furrier's ability to see the future!! LOL!!!!!
