The kids from Honey, I Shrunk The Kids, a 1989 Disney film. The star of the film, Rick Moranis, was, at the time, also starring in Ghostbusters II. The entire cast of GBII -- minus Moranis -- made an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show to promote their film. Moranis was off promoting HISTK. Both Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd publicly ridiculed HISTK, snarkily declaring "Oh yeah, it's gonna be a big hit..."
In fact, HISTK made $222.7 million, while GBII made $215.3 million.

Thomas Wilson Brown was the "star" of the film, appearing as the Little Russ Thompson -- the supposed love interest of the movie. But he was so androgynous (did he shop at Jay Jacobs??), he never broke out as a star. He got a role on Knots Landing in 1990 as Jason Lochner, but that lasted just a year.
But since then, Thomas Wilson Brown has had a steady career as an actor, mostly in guest-shot TV roles and B/indie pictures. Here he is today.
Talk about changes!
He works it.

Jared Rushton was the real star of the movie. He had more lines, and more to do, and had that moving goodbye scene with "Antie". A child star, he'd already appeared in Big and Overboard and was a recurring character on Roseanne.
After HISTK, he got a big part in Pet Cematary 2.
Jared Rushton seemed headed for a career of TV guest-shots and B/indie movies, too. But in 2000, at the age of 26, he quit acting for reasons that aren't known. Today, he plays in small-time rock bands in Los Angeles.
