Is this good design?
The idea is that it provides shelter for bus patrons where no bus stop is available.
I'm not sure. It sort of begs the question: Why is there no bus stop there? I can't think of a reason, except that the city doesn't want to pay for it.
I can't help but notice that this is a nice shelter for thin, young people. If you are elderly, you still have to stand -- whereas a real bus shelter would provide seating. If you are in a wheelchair, you don't get much coverage.
The shelter seems to work. Except, that is, if the rain is coming from the left. That kind of rain will drive right against the wall, and not really shelter anything, will it?
I also can't help but notice that there is a lot of space for advertising. Why is that?
