looking back toward the rear of the station

I refuse to post these to the front page of Wikipedia any more. But I will post them here. The article I wrote or assisted with is in bold.
Did You Know ... that at 8:39 AM on January 15, 1953, the Federal express train crashed into Washington, D.C.'s Union Station -- smashing through the stationmaster's office, a newsstand, and a steel pillar on the concourse before the concourse floor gave way and the rear of the locomotive and stopping the train just as it was about to smash into the crowded waiting room beyond?
